Separate the product mechanisms
A bubble product makes bubbles from solution. A water blaster projects water. The distinction is more useful than whether both are shaped like a gun. Keep separate categories for searching and use a summer collection to bring them together for merchandising.
Questions for bubble toys
Confirm whether solution is included, how much is supplied, how the product is powered and which accessories are packed. Ask for operation and leak checks for the exact version. If liquids are included, confirm packing and transport requirements with the supplier and logistics provider.
Questions for water play
Compare fill method, capacity, operating mechanism, sealing and how the item is emptied. Packing and accessories affect shelf space and carton volume. Do not make distance or capacity claims from a generic image; request the specific measurement or test.
Build the assortment by shelf role
A compact entry item, an interactive model and a larger gift format perform different jobs on a display. Choose the balance using your customer and price architecture. No combination guarantees sales; use actual sell-through and reorder feedback to refine the next assortment.
