Start with the destination and deadline
Share the delivery country, port or location and the date stock must be available. Separate production from transit and destination handling. A seasonal range needs an arrival plan, not just a dispatch estimate.
Compare the quoted scope
Ask what is included and where responsibility changes. Product cost, inland transport, consolidation, export handling, freight and destination charges are not interchangeable. Confirm the selected trade term and named place in writing.
Check cargo details early
Confirm carton counts, dimensions, gross weight and product characteristics. Batteries, liquids and other cargo characteristics may affect handling or transport options. Do not assume every item in a mixed order can travel under the same arrangement.
Keep the packing list usable
Map each line to the correct SKU and carton marks. Review final packing information after packing is completed, since initial figures may change. Retain final documents with the order for receipt checks and future reorders.
