What we mean by sourcing from Yiwu
Yiwu is a trading and comparison point for products from different manufacturing regions. Our name describes that buying focus; it is not a claim that every item is manufactured in Yiwu or on one company-owned production line. For the selected item, production location, supplier identity and document scope can be raised in the quotation discussion.
The product version comes first
Similar shells can contain different components. A vehicle may use a different controller or battery; a bubble machine may ship with or without solution; a play set may have a different accessory count. We organize the conversation around the version, its included contents and its packing. A photograph alone does not settle those questions.
A useful quotation leaves fewer open questions
Send the references, quantity unit, destination and required arrival window. We use the brief to discuss current minimums, packing and available options. Standard goods, custom artwork and product modifications are separate requests with different approval work. Where information is missing, it should remain an explicit question until confirmed.
Approval should remain usable on the second order
Keep the selected SKU, sample photographs, accessory list and artwork revision with the order. On a reorder, refer to that record and ask whether components, materials or packing have changed. Our buyer guides explain how to prepare these records and compare the information received.
Start with a short list
You can select products in the catalog or send a category brief if you are still deciding. Include the sales channel and the destination country. If your project depends on a particular document, packaging method or delivery date, identify it at the start so the enquiry can address the constraint rather than only the appearance of the toy.
