Choose the right level of customization
An existing item in a custom box is different from a modified product or a new tooling project. Identify what must change and what can stay standard. Ask for separate costs and lead times for artwork, samples, tooling and production where relevant.
Make artwork approval specific
Supply brand assets you are authorized to use, required language, barcode specifications and market-specific labeling instructions. Review the complete layout rather than only a front-panel image. Confirm print colors, material, dimensions and warning-panel placement before approval.
Keep an approved reference
Record the product version, material, color and packaging sample that define the order. Agree how later changes will be approved. A digital rendering can help review layout but does not establish finished material, color match or print quality.
Protect the product decision
Do not assume that a supplier can use third-party characters, logos or branded designs without permission. Confirm rights for the intended market and provide relevant authorization. We do not present unverified branded samples as licensed wholesale stock.
